This is from my Bible Reading today. This is also the text Jonathan Edwards used for his sermon known as “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God”. This is a Famous Sermon, one that every Christian should read. He had already written and preached it at his home Church in Northampton, Massachusetts, but had been invited as a guest Pastor to preach it at the Church in Enfield, Connecticut. Apparently, they had appeared unaffected by the Revival that was taking place all throughout New England. As he preached it, it would not be finished because of the impact it had upon his hearers.
