“They were for testing Israel, to find out if they would obey the commandments of the Lord, which He had commanded their fathers through Moses.” Judges 3:4
Yesterday, we saw Israel’s Disobedience; they did not drive out the Nations of Canaan as God commanded! Though this was for their own good, they rebelled and went their own way. But God knew this. He had allowed the Enemy to have a foothold in their Land for a purpose; to Test Them!!!
God does the same today. When He saves us, He conquers our heart and begins to rule and reign over us. Sin no longer is our Master. But in His wisdom, He allows some Sin to Remain in order to Test Us! We ALL deal with Sin to one degree or another. It either Reigns or Remains. Which is true for you?
