There is so much to learn from Job. I think every year I read this Book I learn something new. Consider today’s verse. He loses ALL his possessions and ALL his children, and yet,…”did not sin”! Staggering!!!
But consider “what” he lost. He was Very Wealthy, “the greatest of all the men of the east”. He was a Loving Father, “rising up early in the morning and offering burnt offerings” because “Perhaps my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” His Loss was Immense!!!
And how is it with us? Yes, Life is Hard right now. Things are difficult. But what have we lost in comparison? How have we acted in comparison? May this cause us all to cry out and say, “Oh God, make me more like Job”!
