“And when Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of the three men his anger burned.” Job 32:5
And then there was Elihu… What an Enigma! If you’ve read or studied Job, you know what I’m talking about. As the story of Job unfolds, we have his 3 well-meaning friends, all trying to help him find his way. At some point, Elihu arrives on the scene and waits his turn to speak.
What can we say about this man? At times he speaks very biblically and wisely; at other times we ask “Say What?” Initially, he comes across very humble. Later, he makes the statement “One who is perfect in knowledge is with you”! But in the end, God does not condemn him.
Fascinating book the Bible; filled with Treasure that requires a lifetime to mine. May God help us all value it more and more each day!
