“When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.” Revelation 8:1
At the end of the 6 Seals of God’s Wrath, there was Silence! God’s Heaven, with myriads of Angels and Saints, all singing and worshiping, are suddenly Silent! Why is this? We aren’t told! And I think we do well to join them. Commentators have their Theories and Many speculate, but sometimes just putting our hand over our mouths is a better posture. Solomon opined in Ecclesiastes, that there is “A time to be silent”. God’s Wisdom, Knowledge, and Power, is Infinite, and by them He controls All Creation. Let us come before Him, prostrate ourselves, And Be Silent!!!
