A Little Bit About Me
This is me in the mid 70s. I was teaching a Bible Study of young people on Friday nights in Del Mar, CA. These were mainly Junior and High School kids that couldn’t always make the Study Art Jensen held (seated to the left) on Thursday nights. I offered to come to Del Mar and start one if they were interested. They were, and we soon grew to about 100 different kids. Many did not come from Christian homes and this Study became their Church of sorts.
As time went on, several had professed Christ and wanted to be baptized. At Art’s Study, several had been converted there as well, and expressed the same desire. We decided to hold a joint Baptism. This took place at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, CA. Here I am addressing the group before they went out into the ocean with us.
This is my Prius after being broadsided in 2016. It’s also one of the reasons I started this Website. My desire to Preach and Teach has never diminished since those early days. Though I wanted to be a Pastor for many years, God never opened that door. It was my ambition to become an Itinerant Evangelist of sorts when I retired. This accident took place a couple of years prior to that being realized.
So, I decided I would take up My Pen (Keyboard) and make this Website my pulpit. It’s my hope and longing that I can give you something profitable from God’s Word for your Journey. God Bless you as you read and follow along!
