I love the story of Esther! It’s like watching a Play. Several plots unfold, interweaving a tale of the good against the bad. It’s also the tale of God once again showing His Sovereign control over all things, even a King’s sleeping patterns. Here, King Ahasuerus can’t sleep, so he gets up and tries to be productive. Low and behold, something is read that needs his attention! Accident, Chance, Fortune, that this happened? Or the Supernatural intervention by Almighty God?
Let this encourage our hearts today, that our Lord God Omnipotent Reigns over all things! Even whether we get a “good night’s sleep” or not!
